Assad airstrikes kill at least 25 people in Idlib, Deir Ezzor: SNHR


Syrian regime airstrikes killed at least 25 people and wounded dozens across Syria on Wednesday, a monitoring group reported.

The dead included 8 children and a woman in attacks on Idlib and Deir Ezzor provinces, the Syrian Network for Human Rights said.

Syrian army jets targeted the rebel-held town of Salqeen in the northern city of Idlib, leaving 16 civilians dead, including 4 children, according to SNHR.

Also, 2 children were killed in the town of Ma’aret Al Numan in Idlib by missile attack.
The monitoring groups that tracks the war in Syria through field activists and sources reported also killing of a mother and her child in Josef village in Idlib.

In the east of Syria, at least 5 people have been killed in regime air strike missile on Al Salehiya neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.

Bashar al-Assad air force has extended its brutal aerial campaign after an alliance of islamist rebels, the Fatah Army, pressed rapid advances in the western countryside of Idlib and nearby Sahl al-Ghab plain in Hama province, taking control of 12 hills and villages and inflicting humiliating defeats on Syrian regime army, activists and rebel sources said on Tuesday.

Syria's conflict, now in its fifth year, has killed more than 250,000 people and caused millions to flee, according to UN .
