ISIS suicide attack kills Nusra Front commander in Harem near Idlib

An ISIS suicide bomber blew himself up in Nusra Front's headquarters in Harem town near Idlib city, killing a senior commander in al Qaeda-linked group, activists said on Saturday.

Abu Musaab Hwaiqa, who fled Syrian east after being controlled by the Ultra-hardline Islamic State, was killed in ISIS lethal weapon, the suicide bombing, in his hometown Harem.

Rebel-held northern province of Idlib has witnessed high rates of serial killing for active commanders of Islamist factions including al-Nusra and Fatah Army, or the Army of Conquest.

The Islamic State's campaign of extreme violence and abuses against both civilians and rival opposition groups has prompted a backlash across rebel-held Syria, where many hope the US air campaign will be extended.
