Fatah Army on Tuesday has killed 14 Syrian army soldiers in the northern province of Idlib, taking control of Tel al-Hekmah hill south of Jisr al-Shughour town, activists said.
The Army of Conquest, or Fatha Army, has made advances against the military in several parts of Syria in recent months, including capturing most of Idlib province to the northeast of Sahl al-Ghab plain.
Meanwhile, fierce fighting still underway in Sahl al-Ghab. Ahrar al-Sham fighters have destroyed 3 tanks on Mansoura battlefront, activists said on Tuesday.
Last Saturday, the regime army and allied militia NDF have regained control over several northwestern villages from rebels in Sahl al-Ghab which is crucial for defending coastal areas that Assad holds.
