At least 45 people have been killed in Eastern Ghouta suburbs near Damascus in Syrian regime air strikes, activists and monitoring groups said on Wednesday.
Activists said regime warplanes have carried out 5 raids on Douma, Saqba and Hamouriya towns east of Damascus, leaving dozens killed and wounded.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights and activists said 23 people were killed in Douma, 22 others killed in Saqba and 5 in Hamouriya.
The death toll is expected to rise, they said.
