5 Governorates in Darkness and Regime's Electricity stands behind "The terrorist groups"

Again, the regime and its power minister stands behind "terrorist groups" to justify the expanded power cut in Southern Syria which left it in complete darkness since Saturday.

Since the beginning of the crisis, the electricity was "a weapon" to use to subject the masses in the revolting areas. The regime started with cutting the power for long hours then weeks and now months in towns, cities, and now regions.

Since the start of this year, the power-off policy took another direction. The power is cut repeatedly on the southern region. The region which includes 5 main governorates; Damascus, Damascus countryside, Daraa, Swyida, and Al-Qunitra.

Everytime the regime, and its media along with its minister of power attribute the power cut to a "terrorist assault" either on the tension lines, generating stations, or gas pipes. The gas pipes pretext was the last justification.
