Syrian labor community in Kuwait to have long residence visa due to the deteriorating situation in their war-torn country, a Kuwaiti daily said on Monday.
Brigadier General Abdullah Al Hajeri, acting director of residence department in Kuwait told al-Anbaa newspaper that Syrians live in the gulf state will obtain the long residence visa the Kuwait laws can afford.
The Kuwait move comes as piles of barbs directed to Gulf Arab states over the Syrian refugees dilemma as thousands of them have been trapped on borders of Europe and hundreds went missing in the Mediterranean sea.
More than 250,000 people have lost their lives and 12 million have fled their home since Syrian revolution erupted in March 2011.
