At least 8 people were wounded when a car bomb went off in mainly Alawites neighborhood in central city of Homs on Wednesday, State-run news agency said on Wednesday.
SANA said "terrorists" detonated a Kia Rio car rigged with explosive near the square of al-Zahra, a key pro-regime neighborhood, leaving 8 people.
The source added that two of the injured are in critical condition, and that the blast cause considerable damage to the site of the attack.
The attack came almost three weeks since a blast hit al-Zahraa, killing 4 and wounding 19.
