At least 17 civilians, including nine children and three women,
were killed on Sunday when rebels shelled a regime-controlled neighborhood in the
northern city of Aleppo, a monitoring group said.
The
Syrian Network for Human Rights said the shelling Sunday took place in
Al-Midan neighborhood, once a center for the city's thriving Armenian
community.
