At least 10 people killed in car bomb near Aleppo

A car bomb exploded Thursday in a rebel-held town in the northern province of Aleppo, killing at least ten people and leaving dozens wounded, a monitor group said.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights said at least 10 civilians have lost their lives when a rigged car exploded in a marketplace in Hraytan town, leaving huge losses.

Saleh Layla, 27, media activist, was among the victims, according to SNHR.

Yet, no insurgent group claimed the responsibility of the attack.

Aleppo, once the commercial center of Syria, has been divided since 2012, with government forces controlling much of western Aleppo and rebel groups in control of the east.

More than 230,000 people killed and over 12 million forced to flee their homes.
