Islamist group tortures unarmed man to death south Damascus: brother

The Conquest Brigade, an Islamist rebel group operating in the town of Moadamiyet al-Sham southern Damascus, has tortured to death a Syrian man in his forties over claims he cooperated with Syrian regime, activists and victim's brother, journalist Ali Hamra said Thursday.

Isam Hamra was kidnapped on Monday before his family received his lifeless body with torture signs late on Wednesday, his brother said on his Facebook page.

Hamra assured that we have been facing new 'Shabiha', the Arabic acronym of Bashar al-Assad's militiamen." The new ones are taking Islam as cover but they are practicing same tools of Assad regime, he added.
