Islam Army denies regime advance east Damascus, says 24 soldiers killed

Islam Army denied reports saying regime forces have been making gains in territory it controls east Damascus.

The key rebel group operating in the embattled Eastern Ghouta suburbs and in the eastern Qalamoun region said in press statement it has killed 24 regime troops northeast the capital on Monday.

State-run media claimed that regime army had recaptured two bastions from rebels who control most of eastern countryside.
