(Zaman Al Wasl)- Number of Palestinians wanted by Syrian intelligence are more than any other nationally according to leaked documents and warrants issued by Syrian regime's security services with the end of 2014.
The leaked archive obtained by Zaman Al Wasl includes 524,416 arrest orders against citizens from 153 states across the world.
The Palestinians come third among non-Syrian (Arab and foreign) in number of notices, after Iraqi and Lebanese. The total number of notices against Palestinians was 27628 one, third of them (9385) were arrest warrants, which made them again among the most people required for arrest by intelligence branches after Yemenis, Tunisians and Saudis.
It was found that rate of Palestinians who were issued arrest Warrants was 33% of all notices issues against Palestinians, it was higher than rate of arrest Warrant out of all notices for other nationalities, at 31.3%.
Archive reveals that Syrian intelligence had divided Palestinians into 6 categories: Palestinians, Palestinians of Syria, Palestinians of Egypt, Palestinians of Iraq, Palestinians of Jordan, Palestinians of Lebanon.
Category of "Palestinian" had the highest number of notices, at 12579 one, including the 5241 arrest warrant, followed by "Palestinians of Syria at total 4234 notices with 1680 arrest warrant, then "Palestinians of Jordan to followed by Palestinians of Lebanon then of Iraq and Egypt.
The intelligence archive showed by the number of notices the amount of intimidation the Palestinian face by the Syrian regime, however other evidences prove the same point, one of them naming the fiercest intelligence branch with “Palestine Branch”, moreover, it was found that Military Intelligence Division, the cruelest branch, had issued approximately 63% of the total notice against Palestinians of different categories which 17300 one. .
The Military Intelligence Division is the most active intelligence branch as it had the highest number of notices and arrest warrants, and far away form the next intelligence branch, as the archive showed.
