Medical
sources reported that 13 civilians were killed on Wednesday, most of them from
"Gharibi" family following the missile bombing of the Ariha
city.
The
sources pointed out that the shelling of the city accelerated after sudden
withdrawal of the regime forces after the rebels control over most of the
barriers near the city.
It is worth
mentioning that the city was bombed few days ago with explosive barrels, which
resulted in a massacre killed more than 50 people.
Syria's conflict began in March 2011 largely as peaceful protests against Assad's rule. It escalated into a civil war after opposition supporters took up arms to fight a brutal government crackdown on dissent.
More than 200,000 people have been killed in the conflict,
according to Syrian Human rights NGO's and 1.7 million Syrians,
including one million children, have been forced to flee to neighboring
countries, the United Nations says.
