Russian warplanes easily hit cars painted with Islamic slogans: monitor warns

 (Zaman Al Wasl)- A rebel monitor tracks Russia's aerial campaign in northern Hama province has warned fighters to not paste slogans or religious statements on their cars which can be easily identified by Russian advanced warplanes and satellites, according to audio statement issued Thursday.

 One of local observatories in the northern countryside of Hama has urged Free Syrian Army to hide cars painted with Islamic statements or revolution flag, adding that number of FSA cars were targeted due to this reason in the last two days.

Russian air force in Syria, which consists of around 50 planes and helicopters with a further 37 aircraft, had carried out around 3000 sorties in Syria in the last 70 days, killing more than 1000 people.

Syria's war started with a pro-democracy movement that grew into an armed uprising and has inflamed regional confrontations. About 300,000 people have died in the conflict, according to United Nations estimates.
