ISIS loses new villages in Hasaka countryside, people’s suffering deepens

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Islamic state keeps losing new villages in Hasaka proivncec northeast Syria, in conjunction with deepening the suffering of the people as the area is being targeted by airstrikes of both the US-led alliance and the Russians air-forces. in the same time clashes took place between tribes of the region and members of the Islamic State.

Activist Osama Mulla Mohammed revealed that clashes took place between the Islamic State and the Alliance of Syrian Democratic Syrian Forces (SDF) led by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) where it took over the villages of Khan, Sawi, Eastern Janaba and Western Janaba and reached to the valley separating between those villages and Alamo village close to Kbiba oil fields, which is invested by ISIS through intermediaries.

The activist said to Zaman Al Wasl that elements of the
SDF led by the Democratic Union Party have advanced from Alfaj side toward the villages Eastern Alzaher and Almotatin, the largest populated area in the region, and added that members of SDF have managed to advance with the help of airstrikes of the US-led alliance over the central front, towards Wadi Alramel from the side of Southern Dam lake and controlled ISIS’s sites in the barrier of Taqtaqa.

The activist pointed out that members of the Islamic State clashed with militants of one of the tribes in Alamo villages and Janaba before withdrawal from them because assaulted an old man objected putting explosives in his house.

Fighting between the Islamic State and the US-led alliance left casualties from both sides but it was difficult to determine the accurate number as both sides are reluctant to talk to the media or the announcement of the outcomes of the battles. The Islamic State had exploded two vehicles where it blew them against the attacking forces in the area between the Alariaha and Alhol towns, according to the activist.

In the same context, the Us-led alliance aircraft launched airstrikes against ISIS during last few days killed two members of the "State" in the area of Markada silos while the Russian aircraft bombed Alshadadi which caused huge destruction of the area according to residents.

Aircraft of the US-led alliance killed and injured dozens of civilians after targeting Alkhan village associated to Alhol region on 7th of December, causing huge disturb among people and wave of displacement amid difficult living and health conditions as well as fears of massacres against them because the area is a military zone.

In the same time people suffer of increasingly worsening living conditions in southern countryside of Alshaddadi and Anarisha and Markada with the onset of winter and the lack of fuel and other means of heating, moreover they have become too expensive and unaffordable for most of people as they have lost their jobs after targeting most of oil field by the US-led alliance airstrikes.

SDF has been formed in mid October this year by support of the United State, as an alliance between the powerful Kurdish Democratic Union Party and people’s Protection Units “YPG” and rebels groups including Arab and Assyrian militias.

The USA support the SDF with arms, and they launched their first military raid supported by airstrikes cover of the US-led alliance, in order to regain control on areas of Hasaka countryside controlled by ISIS.
