Rebels take border town from ISIS northern Aleppo

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels on Tuesday have taken a border town with Turkey in northern Aleppo province from the Islamic State fighters, according to Zaman al Wasl's local reporter.

The rebel factions operating under Marea Command Room said they have seized full control of Qarah Mazraa town on the border with Turkey after heavy clashes with ISIS.

In southern countryside, clashes are still underway between rebels and regime forces and allied militia.

Meanwhile, activists said Russian warplanes have stepped up air strikes on rebel-held areas in Aleppo, killing dozens in al-Bab, Maskanah and Manbij towns.
