Damascus: at least 28 civilians killed in vacuum missile attack on Hamouriyeh, Erbeen

(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 20 civilians, including 8 children and 2 women, have been killed and dozens wounded in  the regime's vacuum missiles fired into a local marketplace in Damascus suburbs, local media center and monitoring group said Thursday.

Douma Media Center said the death tool of Syrian regime's missile attack on Hamouriyeh town to rise, adding the devastating attack has caused a massive destruction in the area.

Six  more civilians were also killed by shelling in Erbeen and two in Douma area, northeast of Damascus, while government forces were also pounding Eastern Ghouta with artillery fire, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Syrian and Russian air strikes on the the Eastern Ghouta suburbs have killed more than 200 people in 4 weeks.

On Tuesday, Russia's vacuum missile attacks on Bezzina village in the besieged Ghouta suburbs had killed 30 civilians, the Revolution Local Committees said.

West of the Syrian capital, 10 people were killed Wednesday in sarin gas attack on Moadamiyet al-Sham town, activists said.

Amnesty International said on Wednesday that Russia's bombing of Syria that began on Sep.30 may amount to a war crime because of the number of civilians its strikes have killed.

More than 250,000 people have been killed since Syria’s revolution erupted in March 2011, and millions more have fled their homes.
