Clashes renew between ISIS-linked group and Islam Army in Dumeir town east Damascus

(Zaman Al Wasl)- One Islam Army fighter has been killed on Thursday in clashes with an-ISIS-linked group in Dumeir city east of Damascus, the local coordination said.

The infighting has renewed after nearly two weeks of fragile truce between Islam Army and Jaish al-Tahrir, or Liberation Army, since 13 fighters from both sides had been killed mostly from the desert city of Dumeir, 30 miles (45) km east to Damascus.

Locals who endured to almost two-year truce with Syrian regime army have urged all warring factions in Dumeir to take the severe living condition into account.

Dumeir
is situated on the enclaves of an ISIS-held territory in Badiyat al-Sham and also surrounded by  Syria's most powerful military bases like Dumeir airport and ballistic missile launch facilities.
