Aleppo: Russian warplanes target two hospitals, kill 12

ALEPPO (Zaman Al Wasl)- Russia on Friday has stepped up its devastating air strikes on the rebel-held areas in northern Aleppo province, killing12 civilians in strikes focused on the two main hospitals of Azaz town, local reporter said.

Two children and one woman were among the casualties.

Medics said the hospitals will be partially out of service due to the heavy aerial bombing that turned some buildings to rubble.

 3 more civilians were killed in al-Zebdiyeh neighborhood of Aleppo due to the Russian air strikes, the Syrian Network for Human Rights reported.

Amnesty International said on Wednesday that Russia's bombing of Syria that began on Sep.30 may amount to a war crime because of the number of civilians its strikes have killed.

On Thursday, Russian fighter jets have killed 10 civilians, mostly drivers, on Thursday in an attack on a fuel convoy in between the towns of Ehrus and Harbel near the Turkish border.
