(Zaman Al Wasl)- A Syrian regime barrel bomb attack killed Sunday at least 6 people in al-Hola region in the central province of Homs, activists said.
The attack that targeted the main school of Thalf village in the northern countryside of Homs, left 6 people dead since most of displaced people used take schools as temporary shelters.
Syrian regime have stepped up barrel bomb attack on rebel held areas in Homs. Activists said regime helicopters had dropped 4 barrels on Their Ma'la town and 8 more barrels on Qunaitrat town.
In the eastern countryside, ISIS news feeds said 15 Syrian army troops were killed in a blast in al-Humaira hills west of ISIS-captured Mahin town.
On Saturday, Russian aircraft has also bombed a school in Idlib province, killing nine people and injuring 11 others.
The death toll included five children, Mahmoud Dagim, an Idlib civil defense official, told Anadolu Agency.
He said Russian jets bombed Zikar school in the rebel-held Jarjanaz town.
