ISIS takes three towns from rebels in northern Aleppo

(Zaman Al Wasl)- ISIS fighters have recaptured early Monday three border towns with Turkey were under control of the Syrian rebels, Zaman Al Wasl local reporter said.

ISIS took towns Dwaidan, Qarah Qweeri and Ghazel in the northern countryside.

Omar Kassouma, military commander of Sultan Murad Division said ISIS had the upper hand in the recent battles due to fortifying towns with tens landmine and road bombs.
 
Meanwhile, Russia, Bashar al-Assad's key ally, said its air forces had carried out 164 sorties in Syria in the past three days, hitting 556 targets, Lt.-Gen. Sergei Rudskoi, a department chief at Russia's Defense Ministry, told a news briefing on Monday.
