(Zaman Al Wasl)- Notorious Shiite Badr militia, which fights in Syria in support of Bashar al-Assad, has posted online photos showed its camps and fighters in Syria.
Two weeks ago Zaman Al Wasl revealed in an article the arrival of about 600 members Badr militia to Syria, pointing out that Badr Brigade is the name of the militia founded by "Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim" in late eighties of last century under supervision of "Khomeini", to serve as a military force to help Tehran in its war against Iraq which was under Saddam Hussein’s control.

Badr Brigade had received interest and attention by Hafez al-Assad, who met many of its leaders and hosted them as suppressed political refugees.
Badr Brigade had done several operations inside Iraq during Saddam Hussein’s era, and actively participated in the Iraqi invasion, which led to overthrowing the Iraqi regime in 2003. Soon the brigade involved in a new phase and openly revealed its objectives and goals when engaged in massacres, killings and displacement on sectarian background.
The strange issue that Badr brigade had escalated its crimes against Iraqis when it became a "political organization", as in theory, the need for its military operations were no longer needed after Saddam stepping down.

Badr brigade followed the tack of other sectarian movements in supporting Bashar al-Assad in his war against Syrian people, and it practically supported the regime by sending its mercenaries and fighters to fight with the regime and prevent it from collapsing. The brigade joined other sectarian militias in Syrian like Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, Vatimyoon, Nujbaa, Hezbollah, Zulfikar and other sectarian formations that over-killed the Syrians.
Badr Brigade is led by Hadi al-Amiri, who with his militia form a state inside state in Iraq, as he tries to force his rules and procedures in Iraq, relying on the support he receives from Iran, as he has strong relations with it. That could threaten the identity and demography of Iraq.
