Damascus: Ahrar al-Sham frees members of an ISIS bombing cell in Babila

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Ahrar al-Sham movement has freed members of an ISIS bombing cell in Babila town in the southern suburbs of Damascus, including the assassinations in-charge, Hamza Ahmed Shahada, sources said.

The radical Sunni group, which is on the track to leave the southern district, is seeking to free its members who were detained by rebel factions before heading the de facto Raqqa capital due to a rare U.N.-brokered deal with the Syrian regime.

Sources said ISIS paid $50,000 for Ahrar al-Sham to free its fighters who involved in killing senior rebel commanders.

ISIS also has paid $18,000 for Sham al-Rasoul Brigade to free Abu Sufian al-Raqqawi.

Meanwhile, families of 17 civilians and army defectors still have no information over their relatives kidnapped by ISIS in Babila and Sidi Mekadad suburbs.
