Syrian state-run channels have unified its broadcasting
as the US strike getting close.
The danger of
Obama's strike will undermine the world peace when the 'Imperialist America'
will invade the country of resistance and the last citadel in the face of
Israel, Assad's newspapers said.
Suddenly, the
Assad media recalled all patriotic songs of October war 1973 and the channels
of cooking and beauty programs throughout the Syrian revolution turned to be
war-channels which incites for resistance, defense and courage.
In a sharply
worded front-page article, the state-run newspaper Al-Thawra, expressing
official thinking, said Obama's turn-about on military action was "the
start of the historic American retreat," AP reported.
Analysts said
Syrian Conflict has been changed after the chemical attack, August 21, on
rebel-held areas of eastern Damascus when the Regime forces had stepped up
military operations in the Eastern Ghouta and Western Ghouta zones of the
Damascus region with aircraft and rocket launchers, causing several dozen dead and
wounded,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told AFP news agency.
Syria's
conflict began in March 2011 largely as peaceful protests against Assad's rule.
It escalated into a civil war after opposition supporters took up arms to fight
a brutal government crackdown on dissent.
More than
200,000 people have been killed in the conflict, according to Syrian Human
rights NGO's and 1.7 million Syrians, including one million children, have been
forced to flee to neighboring countries, the United Nations says.
