
(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime has freed 8 people, including 4 women and 3 children, over prisoner swap deal with rebels in Damascus late on Monday, rebel commander told Zaman al Wasl.
Abu Nafea al-Dimashqi, commander of Dhuha al-Islam Brigade said the prisoner swap has included a Hezbollah militant who was taken captive week ago by rebels near Sayeda Zeinab Shrine, south of the capital.
Youssef Tawfik Nashshab, 65, is a father of five more Hezbollah militants fighting in Syria, al-Dimashqi added.
Shiite fighters from all over the world have been joining Syrian war despite their Ithna 'Ashariyyah ideology , an offshoot of Shiite Islam, is banning Jihad until the appearance of Imam al-Mahdi, or the promised Mahdi, to support him in fighting evil powers.
