FSA controlled “Ma'aret Alertik” near Aleppo and
preparing for exchange deal with the regime
A field source told Zaman Alwasl that the Free Syrian
Army (FSA) manage to control a large number of residential blocks in "Ma'rret Alertik" region, and small number of blocks left to Assad’s forces.
Earlier the free Syrian
Army (FSA) had a full control of “Dahrat Abed Rabbo" that considered a
very strategic area as it close to Air Force Intelligence-Mukhabarat centre in
Aleppo.
The sources pointed out
that daily clashes take place between the rebels and Assad's forces in those
blocks as they are close to each other and sometimes they use the
“bomb-actions” as they causes damage however they have been used because of the
short distance between the two sides.
The source estimated
that Assad's forces in the area not more 300 military, and their task is to
defend the artillery battalion located behind the building blocks, near Air
force intelligence-Mukhabarat centre.
Many sources spoke to
Zaman Alwasl about a possible exchange deal between the rebels and the regime
forces as rebels managed to captured a large number of Assad’s forces in “Khan
al-Asal” battle, but no information about the process as the deal is top
secret.
