(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 17 people, including 7 children, have been killed in Russia's vacuum missile attack on a border town with Turkey, activists said Friday.
The 4-month-old Russian aerial campaign has targeted the town of Sarmada and the neighboring district of Bab al Hawa border crossing in the northern countryside of Idlib.
Activists said Russian warplanes have fired two vacuum missiles into the towns' marketplace, leaving at least 17 people dead and 65 wounded.
Another missile attack has targeted Bab al Hawa crossing border, they added.
At least 260,000 people have been killed in Syria since March 2011.
