Eighteen people were killed, including children, when an ISIS car bomb rocked the Al-Sukkari neighborhood of the northern city of Aleppo on Monday.
A pro-opposition Civil Defense source told Anadolu Agency that the car bomb was detonated near a prison linked to the opposition Ahrar al-Sham movement.
The same source said that the death toll was expected to rise further because of the high number of serious injuries caused by the blast.
According to the source, five apartment blocks were completely destroyed, while another 15 were damaged.
Civil Defense teams, he added, were currently combing the rubble for possible survivors.
