Two Islamic groups in Aleppo to be united

A well-informed source told Zaman Alwasl that a consultative meeting took place yesterday in Tal Rifa’at  town, Aleppo countryside, to discuss the possibility of merging both “al-Fateh” and “al-Tawheed” brigades together under one faction.

According to the sources, it is expected for the merge of the two brigades to take place within the next few days.

Observers believed that the merging is considered as the largest in the area and very important step toward unifying and standardizing the military forces all over the country, under one collective authority. 

It worth mentioning, that al-Fateh” and “al-Tawheed” brigades were the first ones to be formed in Aleppo, and they participated in liberating large parts of the city.
