American senator asked veteran dissidents in Syrian Coalition to issue a resolution dismantling Syria from Chemical Weapons where no part for CW in Syria's future what may gain the International Support.
Republican Senator, Lindsey Graham, in a message addressed on 6 September to George Sabra, head of the National Council and Suhai Attasi and others have asked even before the Chemical attack by Assad's force last 21st August to renounce CW and agree to allow an International Coalition to enter a post-Assad Syrian to help secure and destroy chemical weapons stockpile.
Graham Assured in his letter two days ago that the resolution would have served as a commitment to the International Community that CW have no part in Syria's future.
''I urged you to act before it too late,'' Graham asked as well as the Congress will have to decide very soon whether or not to take military action in Syria.
Graham is an American politician who serves as the senior United States Senator from South Carolina, serving in office since 2003. Graham, a member of the Republican Party, Graham has gained a reputation for sometimes speaking out against or criticizing the party line, as well as being open to pushing for liberal economic decisions, such was demonstrated with his support for bank bailouts.
Graham notably supported John McCain's presidential bid in 2000, and served as national co-chairman of McCain's 2008 presidential bid.
In 1998, according to the Congressional daily newspaper The Hill, Graham was describing himself on his website as an Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm veteran. In reality, he never left South Carolina. Graham responded "I have not told anybody I'm a combatant," he said. "I'm not a war hero, and never said I was. I never intended to lie. If I have lied about my military record, I'm not fit to serve in Congress," further noting that he "never deployed.
