(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels took ground form Islamic State in northern Aleppo province as the group retreated to favor of regime in the eastern countryside, activists said on Thursday.
Faylaq al-Sham media officer told Zaman al-Wasl that rebels had seized control of Qara Kubri town near the Turkish border after counter attack on ISIS bastions.
Ahmed al-Ahmed said ten ISIS fighter were killed in the attack.
In the eastern countryside, regime forces made new advances, taking control of an ISIS-dominated territory.
