Opposition National Coalition has accused
Assad regime forces of using "excessive repression" to control the rebellion
which took place inside the central prison of Homs, killing at least 27.
The coalition issued
a statement on Monday saying they have reports confirming pro-Assad militia have used excessive
repression and live fire to control the disobedience that took place inside the
prison, as a result, 27 detainees were killed.
The coalition said
the director of Homs central prison, General Abdou Yusuf Karam, shoulder the
responsibility, beside everyone else who had issued orders, supervised or
implemented the action.
The statement declared that there are more than 200
thousand Syrians are detained including women, children and elderly, in
difficult conditions and exposed to the worst kinds of torture."
