(Zaman Al Wasl)- The commander of al Qaeda's Syria branch in southern province of Daraa has been killed in the ongoing clashes with an Isis-affiliated group, local activists siad on Monday.
Abu Salah al-Maslmeh, Nusra Front's commander in Daraa, was killed in clashes with Yarmouk Martyrs brigade, an Islamist group with links with Isis, in the western countryside of Daraa, sources told Zaman al-Wasl.
Yarmouk Martyrs backed with al-Muthana movement has taken control of Adwan village eraly Monday.
The two groups are preparing to capture towns of Tsail, Sahm al-Jolan and Hait, the sources added.
