Rebels take two towns from ISIS-linked group in southern Daraa province

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels backed by Nusra Front on Tuesday have recaptured two towns form ISIS-linked groups in the southern province of Daraa as clashes still underway in the western countryside, field sources said.

Free Syrian Army took the towns of Mzairib and al-Sheikh Saad from Yramouk Martyrs brigade and its allied group al-Muthanna movement, according to rebel sources.

Early Tuesday, FSA and Islamist factions, including Ahrar al-Sham and the Nusra Front, had sent reinforcements to the western countryside of Daraa to halt Yarmouk brigade's advances.

Yarmouk Martyrs brigade and al-Muthanna movement are preparing to capture towns of Tsail, Sahm al-Jolan and Hait, after taking control of Adwan village early Monday, field sources said.

Nusra Front's commander in Daraa, Abu Salah al-Masalmeh, was killed in the ongoing clashes with Yarmouk Martyrs on Moinday, activists said.
