(Zaman Al Wasl)- Two prominent figures in the embattled city of Zabadani were assassinated on Friday by Lebanese Hezbollah militia, local activists said.
Dr. Mohamed al-Khos, the last-based doctor in the town, and defected Colonel Abdul Karim Alloush, 56, have lost their lives when the Iran-proxy group shot them dead on Friday, in a blatant breach to ceasefire deal reached in 2015 after six months of sever siege.
An NDF fighter was also killed by Hezbollah, residents said.
Al-Khos, the surgeon, had gained wide respect in Zabandai since he refused to leave the town and insisted to help its people. Hundreds of wounded people were treated by him, activists said.
