Rebels thwart SDF attack in northern Aleppo, kill 10

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels thwarted an attack launched by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo on Tuesday, killing 10 fighters and destroying a tank, opposition accounts said.

The YPG-led alliance of Kurdish and Arab factions made rapid advances near the Turkish border last month before the 'Cessation of Hostilities' ceasefire deal agreed by the U.S. and Russia.

SDF slowed its attacks near the Turkish borders after Ankara set the alarm bells and threatened to intervene to uproot any threat for its national security.
