Possible ceasefire between regime, Isis in Yarmouk Refugee Camp

(Zaman Al Wasl)- A meeting between Syrian regime officials and Islamic State commanders took place this week in the Palestinian Yarmouk Refugee Camp southern the capital over possible truce.

A well-informed source indicated the new “emir” Abu Hamza al-Afghani and Abu Hamza al-Sheikh, “emir of Yarmouk Camp strip” met with al-Sheikh al-Alyaan, delegate of Palestine Branch and negotiations officer in the camp.

Al-Alyaan proposed clauses to Isis delegates. The clauses were to grant entrance of aid to the camp, to open the road for the civilians like Bayt Sahim and al-Assali neighborhood, to change the name of Islamic State. The proposed clauses should be implemented following ceasefire and cease of military operation between the two sides, the source said.

The source close to leaders in Isis said Assad forces brought in an ambulance carrying medications as a good intention initiative and was delivered to Palestine hospital which Isis controls.

Potential deal between Isis and regime for exit of 2000 Isis fighters towards Raqqa in last December was halted by Jaysh al-Islam following the assassination of its leader Zahran Alloush.
