(Zaman Al Wasl)- Islamic State on Thursday launched an attack on Syrian regime’s pastions in the city of Deir Ezzor and the military airport in Eastern countryside, then fighting broke out at many fronts led to several death from both sides.
Abo Abdul Rahman al-Deiri reported to “Free Deir Ezzor radio” that regime has used chemical weapon, suspect to be chloride against the Islamic State’s fighters when they arrived to Daghim area near the military airport and spread suicide bombers in Waleed’s farms adjacent to the airport, followed exploding a car bomb Thursday afternoon.
Al-Deiri warned of the possibility that regime could used the chemical weapon at wide area, which put civilians’ lives at risk.
On the other hand, ISIS announced that Syrian regime has used the chemical weapon when bombed Daghim area Eastern the military airport after attacking the regime’s forces. ISIS confirmed controlling sites in the industrial area of Deir Ezzor after exploding a car bomb against the regime forces.
The military expert, Abdul Naser al-Ayed explained to Zaman Al Wasl that ISIS has no option other than controlling the city of Deir Ezzor completely and seize the arms and weapon.
Al-Ayed mentioned that ISIS tries to cut the way between the regime’s forces that advanced toward Palmyra and Syrian Democratic Forces coming from North to prevent a huge attack of regime on Deir Ezzor.
In his talk to Zaman Al Wasl, Ahmed Ramadan, founder of “Deir Ezzor slaughtered silently” campaign, reported that 3 people were killed by the Russian air strikes in an area near Halabiyah roundabout at the entrance of Deir Ezzor and another death was reported in the village of Hussieniyah.
Ramadan reported that Russian warplanes had shelled the industrial area, Hawija Sakar area and around the military airport, as it launched 15 raids since Thursday morning after the attack of the Islamic State against regime forces that had advanced toward many sites in Jafra village near the military airport.
The Islamic State is getting ready for a big battle the U.S. led alliance is preparing. Effort is being made to separate Raqqa city from ISIS’s strongholds in Iraq.
One of the changes toward plan was the advance of Syrian Democratic Forces in Hasaka to almost 40 kilometres away from Euphrates river under air-force cover of the U.S-led alliance, while the regime’s forces are advancing toward the Eastern region from Homs and Hama under cover of Russian air-force.
