FSA fighters take new town from Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade in Daraa

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Free Syrian Army fighters on Friday have taken new ground from an Islamic State-linked groups in the western countryside of Daraa as clashes enter its third week in the southern province, activists said.

The moderate FSA fighters have recaptured the town of Tsail from the Yramouk Martyrs Brigade and its key ally al-Muthanna Movement, less than 24 hours since they recaptured Sahm al-Golan and Adwan towns  

The Yramouk Martyrs and al-Muthanna Movement captured the towns two weeks ago in surprise attack.
 
FSA fighters, who mobilized troops to deter ISIS offensive, were able to recapture Masaken Jillin, former military housing,  and the towns of Mzairib and al-Sheikh Saad.

Yarmouk Brigade still in control of Ayn Thaker, Jomla, Nafe'a and la-Shajara towns in the western countryside.

Yramouk Martyrs and  al-Muthanna Movement launched major attack on rebels and Nusra Front three weeks ago, seeking to extend a territory it control as concerns rise of an ISIS advance in Daraa while its militants have been defeated in the Syrian desert and northeastern Syria.
