Regime made own drones in support of Iran: source

(Zaman Al Wasl)- The first Syrian drone, made in cooperation with Iran's army experts, is scheduled to carry out surveillance missions soon in Syria, source said.

A well-informed regime source told Zaman al-Wasl, the drone called “Sahab” (clouds) was flown as a test in Iran. The drone has good specifications and the number of drones produced in Iran is unknown.

The drone will be transported to Syria from Bali Airport, the main base of Iranian drones where many pilots and technicians reside since onset of the revolution. Iranian pilots will fly the drones, according to the source.

The source added that drones are equipped with high resolution night camera and a live broadcast device. The drone can fly for many hours and reach 5 Kilometers altitude with 150k/h of speed.
