Daraa: man, believed to be detained by regime, confirmed dead after Facebook post

(Zaman Al Wasl)- A picture was surfaced on Facebook page of one of regime’s fighters has revealed the fate of a young man from Khirbet Ghazale, who was killed and his body burned afterward.

Yusuf al-Aji, a militant of regime militias has published a photo of a young man’s body after killing him, and another for his body after burning it, with comment: “this is the end of every armed man in Daraa”.



The photo revealed that the body was for a young man called Rami al-Shiblaq, from the village of Katibah, part of Kherbit Ghazaleh town, who went missing after the invasion of the village 3 years ago after Jisr Horan battle. His parents thought he was arrested and detained at regime’s prisons.

A friend of al-Shiblaq talked to Zaman al-Wasl on condition of anonymity reported that Rami Jamil al-Shiblaq, born in 1986, a student of Arabic Literature in Daraa University who went missing when the regime invaded the town of Khirbet Ghazaleh during the battle of Jisr horan on May 2, 2013.

Al-Shiblaq’s friend detailed that when the regime invaded the village of Katiba, Rami was with Abo Bakr Turkmani, the commander of Tawheed Brigade, and other 6 fighters, regime forces arrested Rami and killed him immediately then they burned his body, two other fighters were burned in a car, and Abo Bakr was injured on his face, and was transferred to Ghazia village, but died later.

People in Katiba, Rami’s village thought he was arrested, but the regime’s militant’s photo confirmed that he was killed and burned.

Al-Aji, a militant of a pro-regime militia, from Tartus, the coastal city, used to publish photos of himself in his military uniform, and images of bodies of people were killed by the regime's forces.
