Photo: Assad's war wounded not satisfied

(Zaman Al Wasl- Photo)- Ali Aqil Suleiman sits on a bench in one of the parks in Tartous city carrying a paper headed by photos of Bashar and Hafez al-Assad honoring him.

The regime did not think twice about its responsibility in Ali’s two amputated legs while honoring him with a paper that looks more like an honoring certificate awarded to primary school students and an envelope containing 15 thousand Syrian Pounds ($25).

This is the honoring of Assad regime to Ali’s efforts in defending the homeland and the leader of the homeland.

Ali Aqil Suleiman who is need for artificial limbs like his need to breathe is from Saristan village in Safeeta in Tartous province. His two legs were amputated after injures in a battle near Harasta in Damascus countryside.

Many injured in regime army suffers lack of medical care to treat their injuries resulting in dire consequences like amputation and paralysis. They also suffer lack of official care leaving them to face their disabilities by themselves without any real support to compensate their loss. (Translation by Rana Abdul)
