Islamic State announced on Sunday burn of 4 Russian helicopters due to a fire in Tifour military airport in eastern countryside of Homs province.
Isis News Agency Amaaq did not indicate if the fire resulted from an Isis operation. The news agency only pointed out that the fire burned 20 missile-loaded vehicles.
Russian media did not publish any related news to the Isis announcement.
News circulated on 10 May of dropping a Russian helicopter near the same airport, but Russian ministry of defense disclaimed the news and said Russian helicopters do not fly near the airport.
Isis has captured last week Shaer gas field and the empty brigade in surrounding of Tifour airport.
