(Zaman Al Wasl)- Kurdish Peoples’ Protection Units (YPG) launched on Monday arrest campaign against Kurds and Arabs in different regions in Hasaka Province.
Local Coordination Committees said YPG arrested 20 people in the entrance of Ayn al-Aroos town while they were coming from Raqqa under pretext of being connected to Islamic State.
YPG arrested 18 Kurdish men between the ages of 18 and 30 under pretext of mandatory recruitment.
Kurdish Democratic Party member Ahmad Mahomud was also arrested on his way back from Kurdistan in Iraq on Symalka cross point.
On the other hand, a car bomb killed 4 personnel near Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) checkpoint south of Ayn Essa town in Raqqa province.
In Aleppo countryside, YPG mourned 4 fighters in Kobani who were killed in battles with Isis on Sunday near Tishreen Dam.
The Syrian Democratic Forces, or SDF, that was founded last October, is a coalition of Kurdish, Sunni Arab and Syriac Christian fighters, but is completely dominated by its Kurdish element, which is a powerful and well organized militia known as the People's Protection Units, YPG, with an all-female branch called the Women's Defense Units, or YPJ.
