(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime intelligence issued 4 arrest warrants for the newly-elected head of the opposition's Interim Government, Jawad Abu Hatab, according to the the leaked archive that obtained by Zaman al-Wasl.
The General Intelligence Administration issued 3 warrants to detain Abu Hatab during the years 2012, 2013, 2014 under numbers 83043, 96684, 99871 whereas Political Security branch issued one warrant in 2012 under number 732358.
Abu Hatab was elected by the Syrian National Coalition General Committee succeeding Ahmad Tumeh. Abu Hatab won 54 votes out of 98.
Abu Hatab is the dean of medical faculty in Aleppo Free University and it is predicted that his activity inside of Syria will lead to transference of the Interim Government to inside of Syria.
According to the data of the intelligence archive, Abu Hatab, born in 1962, is from Ashrafiyet al-Wadi in Damascus countryside.
