(Zaman Al Wasl)- 15 Civilians killed and scores injured on Monday by Syrian regime air bombings with explosive barrels, missiles and sea mines targeting rebel-controlled areas.
Zaman al-Wasl correspondent in Aleppo said Syrian regime and Russian warplanes killed 5 civilians and injured dozens including children by bombing on al-Haydariyeh, al-Kasara, Tareek al-Bab, Baaydeen, al-Firdaous, Jisr al-Haj neighborhoods.
The correspondent indicated the helicopters dropped a number of sea mines and gas cylinders filled with explosives on al-Kalaseh neighborhood killing 2 and injuring dozens.
Also, for the first time the regim warplanes dropped pamphlets including photos of military causalities and statements asking rebel fighters to surrender themselves. The statement said, “decide what your destiny is, the circle around you is getting tighter. Leave and return to where you came from. Surrender yourself today or you will face your inevitable destiny. Hand your weapon or this will be your destiny.”
The pamphlets dropped on Aleppo neighborhoods included the name of the General Administration of Military and Armed Forces.
In conjunction, regime is bombing most of villages and towns in Aleppo northern and western countryside. Helicopters dropped hundreds of cluster bombs and explosive barrels on Biyanun, Adnan, Hayan, Handarat camp, Kafar Hamra, Maaret al-Ateeq, al-Malah, al-Qabir al-Ingleezi, Harytan killing more than 5 civilians and injuring scores.
In the same context, a group of Liwa al-Quds militia fill into a mine field prepared by Aleppo rebels during an infiltartion operation on Monday. The group failed to infiltrate from Handarat town under their control towards Handarat camp which is controlled by rebels. A big number of the group were killed and the rest withdrew.
