Regime air strikes kill 20 civilians in Aleppo: activists

 
(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 20 people have been on Saturday in regime air strikes on Aleppo province, activists said as regime war planes extend aerial bombing on the main gate of rebel-held districts.

The bombing on rebel-held areas has killed more than 70 people since Thursday, monitoring groups said.

Regime backed by Russia jets have intensified air strikes on strategic Castillo road, the last supply route for about 400,000 people live in rebel-held Aleppo.

The rebel local council of Aleppo said regime military had targeted Castillo road in May by 1260 barrel bombs, 1700 missiles, 92 cluster bombs, 56 surface-to-surface missiles and more than 2000 mortar shells.

A U.S.-led coalition fighting against Islamic State in Syria air-dropped weapons to rebels in the town of Marea on Thursday, a rebel commander and monitoring group said.
