(Eqtsad)- The European Information Association has started suspecting the credibility of the Syrian certificates and requested proofs of the standardization and criteria in keeping the Syrian certificates at the European level.
The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Mohammed Amer al-Mardini, in his talk to Al Watan, the regime-loyal newspaper, explained that the European Information Association has requested evidence of standardised national examinations. He mentioned that the Ministry of Higher Education is trying to avoid withdrawing accreditation of Syrian higher Education certificates.
Dr. maysoon Dashash, director of The Center For Measurement & Evaluation In Higher Education explained that the crisis in Syria has put the Syrian certificates under lights, especially after the low classification of Syria in the conference of Mediterranean Sea countries in 2011, the Ministry of Higher Education and basing on its responsibility, had managed to convince officials that the ministry followed a standardized process relying on the standardised credible scientific national examination.
Dr. Dashash mentioned that education and national examination have become one of the society's needs especially after the crisis in Syria, which needs minimum teaching criteria and measurement and evaluation which are implemented by readiness, quick response and recovery reaching to rebuilding the country.
