(Eqtsad)- Strokes and heart attacks as causes of death have risen in Syria to become almost two third of the total natural causes.
Dr. Hussein Nofal, the head of Forensic medicine in the Syrian regime's Ministry of Health reported that stroke and heart attack and infarction have risen to make 70% of all causes of natural death, most of them were males, while the rate was 40% before the war in Syria.
Dr. Nofal confirmed that rate of recovery could reach to 80% if the patient was ministered to hospital quickly before the permanent damage happened. While the rate is significantly dropped when the treatment delayed.
Nofal explained that rate of strokes and heart attacks has risen due to increasing stress amid recent conditions in the country and losing properties and money.
Not necessarily for each one has stroke to die, as patients may suffer of paralysis, losing or weakening of hearing and sight, which is difficult to treat with the recent conditions in the country.
