(Zaman Al Wasl)- Islamic State had a surprise withdrawal from nine villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, sources said.
According to the sources, Isis withdrew from Sandaf village and Kafr Kalbeen and Kaljabreen towns and hence lifted the blockade off Mare’ city. Isis as well withdrew from villages and towns of Sawran, Talaleen, Kara Kupri, Yan Yaban, Dudyan, and Barysha.
The rebel factions following Isis withdrawal opened the road connecting Mare’ to Izaz and the factions are moving slowly towards the other villages sweeping the areas for mines and explosives Isis placed before withdrawal.
The suprise withdrawal of Isis happened when Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) advances towards Manbij captured by Isis. Isis prabably withdrew to enhane troops in areas west of Manbij city.
Isis backed off as well in areas in Raqqa countryside for the regime side. This brings back the operation of surrender and deliverance between the Syrian regime and Isis in Palmyra except that the two cities are different in importance for Isis since Raqqa is considered the headquarters of the organization following Mosul city in Iraq.
